PROJECT DISCRIPTION
Overview of the Project
The New Nuclear Darlington Power Plant project was proposed as a solution to an expected 2000 megawatt electricity deficit in the province of Ontario in the future. If approved, the project is expected to provide up to 4800 additional megawatts of energy for a period of 60 years. The project consists of adding two to four new reactors to the already existing Darlington plant. This section contains the following information:
